Akuo is a French renewable energy producer (wind, solar, and energy storage).
The Group is active across the entire value chain: from development to operations, including financing and construction.
As of the end of 2025, Akuo has a total capacity of 2.1 GW in operation and under construction, and a project portfolio of more than 10 GW. With more than 450 employees, the Group, headquartered in Paris, develops projects in more than 15 countries around the world, primarily in Europe and the Americas.
As part of the development of its activities in Latin America, Akuo is looking for a Senior Power Originator to support its power sales strategy and offtake activities in Chile.

Within Akuo's Market Business Unit, which is responsible for negotiating and implementing new strategies for selling the electricity generated by the Group's power plants, you will play a key role in supporting Akuo's activities in Chile.

This is a 12-month temporary contract, based in Santiago, Chile.

Your first priority will be to contribute to the origination, negotiation and structuring of PPAs, especially for a strategic renewable energy project in Chile.
Your second priority will be to support the analysis of market trends, regulatory developments and long-term price projections to feed Akuo's investment decisions and financial models.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing market analyses, including fundamentals, regulatory matters and price trends, to support Akuo's investment decisions in Chile.
• Analysing market projections provided by external advisors and translating them into relevant inputs for financial modelling.
• Supporting the offtake strategy for Akuo's projects in Chile, including a large-scale PV and BESS project.
• Prospecting, negotiating and structuring Corporate PPA and Utility PPA opportunities for Akuo's Chilean projects.
• Defining and challenging the pricing of electricity sales offers.
• Leading revenues modelling for Akuo's projects in Chile, including Corporate PPAs, Utility/Public PPAs and market sales.
• Conducting market analysis and revenues modelling for Akuo's projects in Dominican Republic, especially for hybrid renewable energy projects.

You will work closely with the local team in Santiago and with the Market Business Unit based in Paris.

• Location: Santiago, Chile.
• Contract type: 12-month temporary contract.
• Expected period: September 2026 to September 2027.
• Scope: Chile, with additional market support for the Dominican Republic.
• Organisation: local management in Chile, with strong interaction with the Market Business Unit and regular coordination with the Paris-based team.

You have solid experience in power markets, PPA structuring and renewable energy offtake mechanisms.

You bring:

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the energy sector.
• Direct experience in Corporate PPA negotiation and/or structuring.
• Strong understanding of electricity markets, market fundamentals and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to analyse price projections and market trends and connect them with financial modelling assumptions.
• Experience in one or more of the following environments:
• Renewable energy project developer in an IPP.
• Market / Origination team.
• Project Finance team with strong exposure to PPA topics.
• Utility sector.
• Portfolio Management team.
• Energy Procurement or Energy Sourcing team.

Previous experience in the Chilean energy market would be a strong advantage, but broader Latin America energy market experience may also be considered.

You are recognised for your analytical mindset, commercial awareness, negotiation skills and ability to work autonomously in an international environment.
