Missions of the job

The Global Product Safety Data Lead ensures the accurate, compliant and timely management of product data focusing on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and associated labels safety information across Adisseo's portfolio.

The role supports regulatory compliance and secures high‑quality master data in internal systems to enable safe product marketing and efficient cross‑functional operations.

The role is accountable for ensuring world safety data sheet operations through excellence in regulatory data, digital platforms, labelling governance and operational execution. He/She is recognized as an expert.


Responsabilités:

Key Responsibilities

SDS and Product Safety Information Expertise

  • Author, review and maintain Safety Data Sheets in compliance with GHS, CLP, transport regulations and other applicable global requirements.
  • Ensure product classifications, hazard communication and regulatory content remain accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare and maintain EU Poison Centre Notifications (PCN) and support Annex VIII compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on SDS content, labels safety information and product safety documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders on chemical hazard communication and safety information requirements.

Digital Systems & Data Integration

  • Own the quality, consistency and integrity of safety-related product data across business systems.
  • Manage and optimize safety data maintenance within WERCS, PLM, SAP and related platforms.
  • Partner with IT, PLM Master Data teams, and software vendors to strengthen interoperability and data flows between systems.
  • Support digitalization initiatives and process automation related to SDS, labels and product information management.
  • Contribute to system enhancements, data models and future roadmap development to improve efficiency and compliance.

Process Ownership & Governance

  • Act as the global process owner for SDS management and product safety data governance.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, data quality and process performance through appropriate governance.
  • Deliver training and support to users involved in safety data and product information management.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence, compliance and customer service.
  • Serve as the recognized internal expert and key point of contact for all SDS and product safety data management topics.

Profil:

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • Strong knowledge of GHS/CLP hazard classification and chemical regulatory frameworks and of international labeling regulations.

  • Proven experience with SDS and labels authoring tools such as SAP, WERCS.

  • Experience working with cross-functional digital projects and data integration initiatives.

  • Project management & systems implementation experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret regulatory changes.

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.

Languages

  • English.
  • Additional languages are a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Animal Nutrition or related scientific discipline.
