Trissential is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our client's team. The Senior Project Manager will lead a comprehensive asset management and work management upgrade to optimize operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project teams, managing timelines, and ensuring project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations. This role is based near Chicago, IL and is a hybrid role requiring work onsite during the week.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering schedule, scope, cost, risk, resources, and quality
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate cross‑functional project teams and vendors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication
- Track and report on project progress, milestones, and financials
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance, and standards
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices
- Oversee financial tracking, reconciliation, and budget adherence throughout the project lifecycle
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- Strong senior‑level project management experience delivering complex initiatives
- Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality simultaneously
- Experience leading large, diverse, cross‑functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship‑management skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with work management and asset management platforms
- Background in enterprise system upgrades or modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with regulatory or industry compliance requirements
- Strong financial management and reconciliation experience on large projects
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Project Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) are a plus
