Role Overview

Pernod Ricard continues to accelerate its HR digital transformation through a strong ecosystem centered on Workday and Adaptive Planning. With growing expectations around data quality, analytics, strategic workforce planning, and business insights, the company is strengthening its HR Tech landscape with a Product Owner dedicated to HR Reporting & Workforce Planning.

This role is strategically positioned to drive consistency, harmonization, and value across all HR reporting and planning capabilities, by owning the end‑to‑end vision and roadmap of four key products:

  • Workday Reporting (standard & custom reporting, dashboards, data sources)
  • Workday Prism Analytics
  • Workday Discovery Boards
  • Workforce Planning via Adaptive Planning

The Product Owner is responsible for defining and delivering the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Workday HR reporting, analytics offer, and workforce planning tools across the Pernod Ricard Group.

They act as the bridge between HR, Finance, Tech, and global/local markets to ensure that reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities are:

  • Consistent (harmonized processes and frameworks)
  • Reliable (high-quality data, stable integrations)
  • Insightful (analytics that drive decision‑making)
  • Efficient & intuitive for end‑users

Through strong product ownership, community leadership, and continuous improvement, the Product Owner ensures that Pernod Ricard leverages the full potential of its Workday reporting and Adaptive ecosystem.

This role sits in the Corporate Capability Product team, in Global Tech, under the HR Tech Product Manager. You will have strong links the HR Controlling global and local functions worldwide and local HRs local business operations.

We are looking for someone with strong system expertise, an ability to drive global alignment, and a mindset focused on process optimization and automation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics & Discovery Boards Ownership

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Workday reporting (standard reports and custom reports, dashboards) and Prism/Discovery Boards to enable business‑friendly insights.
  • Strong collaboration with Global HR Data Stewards to ensure alignment on HR Data roadmap.
  • Ensure reporting offer is aligned with HR and business requirements.
  • Identify business use cases for advanced analytics and strong cross-domain data sources.
  • Manage the global community of reporting users to gather insights and future features needs.
  • Monitor adoption, maintain relevance of KPIs, and ensure intuitive user experience.

2. Workforce Planning (Adaptive Planning)

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Adaptive Planning.
  • Strong collaborate with Global Head of HR Controlling to ensure alignment with HR Workforce Planning strategy.
  • Harmonize workforce planning processes in our Tech ecosystem across geographies in partnership with HR Controllers, FP&A and Tech counterparts.
  • Manage the global community of planning users to gather insights and future features needs.
  • Monitor adoption, maintain relevance of KPIs, and ensure intuitive user experience.

3. Animating product roadmap and coordinating work of the Scrum team

  • Serve as the Tech primary point of contact for all matters related to Workday Reporting & Workforce planning topics
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, priorities, and release impacts to stakeholders.
  • Conceive and document product epics: break the product into Epics and implementable user stories, coordinate mockups creation and identify acceptance criteria for the stories.
  • Take part in relevant SAFe and Scrum ceremonies, lead backlog grooming sessions, and prioritize product backlog.
  • Validate overall achievements on the product. Gather and arbitrate feedback from users from multiple iterations of the product to continually improve and drive value.
  • Be accountable for ensuring that the team delivers value to the business on a frequent and consistent basis.
  • Organize, lead acceptance tests and define Go/noGo criteria for each sprint releases.
  • Set up and track metrics to measure product effectiveness and users' satisfaction.

4. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to improve self‑service analytics and automation.
  • Benchmark market best practices and bring forward innovation proposals (AI, predictive models, improved data visualization).
  • Drive adoption strategies in collaboration with HR & Tech proximity.

Job Scope:

  • Reporting to Tech HR Product Manager
  • Direct management of 2 Business analysts - to support him on direct configuration of each module in his scope:
    • BA Workforce Planning
    • BA Reporting & Prism
  • Internal stakeholders Group HR Controlling, HR Controllers, Group FP&A team, HR Data stewards and local HR teams
  • Key External stakeholders: support and configuration teams (T2 and T3 AMS), consultants.
  • Job scope: 100% international (max 30% availability to travel)

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Strong expertise in Adaptive Planning (Workforce Planning model configuration & processes).
  • Experience in data modeling, analytics, or planning tools.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, KPI frameworks, and HR/Finance interactions.
  • Agile product ownership (user stories, backlog management, sprint participation).
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple countries and business units.
  • Excellent communication and project management capabilities.

Experience

  • 5-8 years in HRIS, People Analytics, Finance controlling, or similar.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning strongly preferred.
  • Hands‑on Workday reporting & data experience required.
  • Experience in multinational environments required; FMCG is a plus.
  • Agile certification is a plus.

Languages

  • Fluent English
  • French is a plus
