Description du poste
Location: Hybrid - Denver, CO (Onsite Tuesdays)
Employment Type: Contract (No conversion expected)
Are you a detail‑driven Product Owner who loves structure, clarity, and shaping early‑stage products? Trissential is seeking a Product Owner to join our client's team and help formalize, document, and advance an internal granular forecasting product. If you enjoy transforming ambiguous processes into well‑defined product paths-and collaborating closely with technical teams-this is a rare opportunity to make a direct, high‑visibility impact.
What's in It for You?
- Help define and shape a growing internal product from the ground up
- High visibility and engagement with stakeholders across multiple business groups
- A strategic role where your documentation, structuring, and product vision create long‑lasting impact
- Collaboration with data scientists and technical teams working on innovative forecasting models
- A hybrid environment that supports deep focus time combined with collaborative touchpoints
- A culture that values clarity, communication, and thoughtful product development
Your Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as both a translator and a strategist-helping shape the direction of an evolving product and driving alignment across diverse groups. You will:
- Document, organize, and productize an existing granular forecasting process
- Transform stakeholder needs and discussions into clear, structured product requirements
- Collaborate closely with data scientists to prioritize development work
- Maintain and expand documentation throughout product lifecycle (core deliverable for the first ~6 months)
- Lead stakeholder discussions, set expectations, and provide clarity on product direction
- Work cross‑functionally with upstream and downstream teams supplying or consuming data
- Serve as a communication bridge across internal business groups with competing priorities
- Operate as an individual contributor with leadership responsibilities in coordination-not people management
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
Don't worry if you don't check every single box-strong candidates are encouraged to apply.
- 5-7 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or similar roles
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to structure complex existing processes
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements
- Experience working directly with technical teams, preferably including data scientists
- Familiarity with JIRA in enterprise environments
- Comfort navigating competing priorities and leading expectation‑setting conversations
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in the energy, power, or utilities sector (strongly preferred)
- Prior experience shaping early‑stage or internal‑facing products
- A background working with forecasting, analytics, or data‑driven products
- Experience supporting multiple stakeholder groups with differing priorities
Education & Certifications You Need
- No specific certifications required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory
