CDI – Manager of the compagny technical network on Cleanliness & FOD (H/F)

In the frame of the development and maintenance of the industrial capability of ArianeGroup and to support wide development & production projects of space vehicles, we are looking for the Cleanliness & FOD network Manager in charge of animating the Company technical network (Industrial directorate, Technical directorate, Quality directorate). The activity includes the animation of the Company technical network as well as an operational technical support for Production or Project teams.

The cleanliness industrial processes require a careful attention during their qualification taking into account the expected quality levels, the multiple contributors and their characteristic that cannot usually be directly controlled on the part. The processes addressed concern both the cleaning (and/or degreasing; internal and/or external) of parts and that of large tanks. The cleanliness of the integration workshops is also part of the overall scope. In the frame of the ramp-up phase of the Ariane 6 launcher, the management of the cleanliness chain from the elementary parts to the final integration of the launcher is a key factor for the success of the launches. In addition, in the frame of the development of new technologies and/or products, new needs arise and we must promote and/or develop new processes industrially more efficient taking into account legal rules (SSE, REACH, etc.) and operational constraints. There are therefore many prospects for industrialization in these processes.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The « Manufacturing & Assembly Technologies » section (JIIC1) is a team of referent industrialization engineers for industrial processes used in a transverse way inside ArianeGroup, specifically inside the Production centers as Composite, Metallic, Vehicles Assembly and Mechanical Ground System, and by our partners/suppliers. This team is attached to the Industrialization Center in the Industrial Directorate. Its mission is to vouch the implementation of the industrial referential and of management of its evolutions (processes, methods, means) for related industrial processes, during pre-development, development or production phases (development of new processes or adaptation of existing processes/means, maintenance of qualified status).

The Job will be in tight interaction with the Civil Vehicles Assembly Center (Vernon, Bremen, Kourou & Les Mureaux) and the Metallic Production Center (Vernon, Ottobrunn & Les Mureaux), but also others Production Units in Aquitaine (FR) according to the identified needs.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES

The person in charge of the Cleanliness & FOD network will have the main task of coordinating the technical network (Industrial Department, Technical Department, Quality Department) within the company (France/Germany), and carry out the following activities with the help of the network:

• Plan, organize and animate network meetings
• Define and implement the company's Cleanliness & FOD roadmap
• Update and maintain related Company referential (General Procedures & Guidelines)
• Pilot the deployment and implementation of the referential on all sites with the other process referents and ensure consistency of cleanliness and FOD management methods within the company
• Support the teams in case of anomaly, audits, expertises
• Synthesize and disseminate best practices and feedback on significant anomalies. Ensure their capitalization and share knowledge.

In addition, the person in charge of the Cleanliness & FOD network will also be responsible for providing local operational technical support on the proximity sites (depending on the attachment site) and will carry out the following activities on his/her technical scope if necessary:

• Develop (define and standardize), maintain industrially qualified state and improve/optimize processes using the 5M+1 approach (Means, Method, Material, Manpower, Environment, Performance).
• Support Design to MAIT activities to ensure Manufacturability of products by providing process inputs (capabilities, etc…) and challenge product definition. Contribute to trade-offs of choice of processes and associated means.
• Carry out expertise and participate/manage 8D workshops in case of "major" anomaly.
• Perform internal and/or external audits concerning processes management.
• Contribute to industrial convergence and synergies with partners (internal/external).
• Drive process qualification both internally and with suppliers.
• Propose and manage investment projects for means or tools (establish CAPEX budgets, specify investments, monitor installation and qualification of investments).
• Perform quotations (NRC/RC) for the feasibility and development phases of new products/processes in support of the quotation teams.
• Participate to the team improvement activities.

These activities should be carried out proactively and with a high degree of autonomy. Operational activities will be carried out as required. Many interactions to be foreseen with the different functions/jobs of the company, but also with the different workshops using these processes (North & South France, Germany, Kourou, etc.).

Additional information :

Demonstrated experience in degreasing and cleaning processes, knowledge of special machines and/or the space liquid engine environment is an asset.

The position could be located in Vernon (Fr), Les Mureaux (Fr) or in Germany. Ponctual trips in France, Germany, UE.
