Description du poste
The Ipsen Global Partnering department includes the Business Development and Strategic Alliances Group activities. The department mission is to strengthen Ipsen products pipeline, by identifying, engaging, and leading key partnerships and alliances with other pharmaceutical/biotech companies to drive innovation and fuel Ipsen growth in Oncology, Rare Disease and Neuroscience.
The Strategy & Operations department aims at supporting at best GPEI & Friends team by bringing structure, excellence and transversality in the management of deals and partners for Ipsen. Activities are grouped in 4 main pillars:
- GPEI Operations (Deals Governance, Process, Tools, System, Reporting, Databases…)
- Strategy & Strategic Enablers (BD LRP, Transversal initiatives, VC management, Link with Innovation ecosystems…)
- Office (Team animation, Offsites, Finance, Procurement…)
- External Engagement & Visibility (BD Congresses Management, Communication link…)
The Global Partnering Project Manager will be part of the Ipsen Global Partnering team and will report to the VP Strategy & Operations Head, Global Partnering.
In this role, the selected candidate will be accountable for continuing the Ipsen Global Partnering transformation towards excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of key corporate objectives related to GPEI.
Specifically, the Global Partnering Project Manager will drive the GPEI Operations pillar, as well as the VC management, and be involved in other ad hoc strategic projects (from operational business improvement initiatives to highly strategic presentation).
To be successful, the incumbent will have to collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders within Ipsen such as R&D, Legal, Value & Access, Finance, HR, Business Operations…
He/She will:
• Lead with autonomy all GPEI Operations
• Manage the selection and implementation of CRM provider for GPEI, as well as act as the key interface between Ipsen and the CRM provider.
• Manage implementation of AI tools within the GPEI team to improve efficiency.
• Maintain the operational processes related to deal making and alliances management, document them and upgrade them according to team's and Ipsen's needs (inc. maintenance of Deal Process playbook)
• Improve, simplify, and ensure consistency of Global Partnering dashboards and KPIs. Track compliance with the use of the partnering database
• Review databases need from the teams, optimize them, and upgrade their use to improve deals activities
• Update and monitor the VC (LP positions and Equity positions) in close collaboration with Legal, Finance and Alliance Management
• Support the overall change management initiatives and ensure appropriate timing and delivery of Global Partnering transformation efforts
• Drive and/or Support projects from the transversal Global Partnering & External Innovation on BD or Ext Innov topics.
Technical Competencies:
• Strategic thinking, including but not limited to complex problems solving, structured analytical reasoning, organizational skills, good planning, prioritization, and time management
• Result-oriented and bold mindset, creativity and out of the box thinking. Ability to identify risks, build and implement mitigation plan proactively
• Customer-oriented to find solution to support and help the full transversal team
• Strong Project Management acumen (including project leadership)
• Proven strong written and oral communication skills and leadership as well as interpersonal skills across all levels of management
• Business development knowledge, understanding or appetite. Proven financial, scientific, and/or pharmaceutical operations knowledges is a plus
• Team-spirit and collaborative mindset tackling challenges as a group with the ability to work alone to produce deliverables as part of a larger team
• MS Office (xls, ppt…) excellent acumen, along mastering use of AI agents
