YOUR DAILY LIFE IF YOU JOIN US

Our subsidiary Bureau Veritas Services France is recruiting a Legal Counsel on a permanent contract (CDI), based in Courbevoie (92).

Reporting to Marie Laëtitia DEL BANO, Legal Director, you will join the Legal Department. You will work within a dynamic and structured legal ecosystem, providing support across all Product Lines of the Group.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Your mission is to secure contractual relationships, manage corporate governance, and ensure legal compliance in a constantly evolving digital environment. You are a key member of the French Legal Department, providing multidisciplinary legal support to all product lines. Your role is essential to support operational teams and contribute to the Group's strategic decisions.

You will:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (service agreements, partnerships) for private and public sector clients, as well as strategic purchasing contracts
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GDPR, review and negotiate IT/Digital contracts (SaaS, licenses, software development), and support AI-related projects
  • Manage day-to-day corporate governance (legal formalities, delegations of authority, general meetings) and support extraordinary operations including M&A transactions
  • Conduct pre-litigation analysis, assess legal risks, and liaise with external counsel to monitor ongoing court proceedings
  • Support operational teams by reviewing various legal documents and providing daily guidance to mitigate business risks

YOUR SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

You have expertise in contract law and corporate procedures? You secure commercial relationships and effectively support governance operations.

You demonstrate autonomy and organization? You prioritize your tasks in a dynamic environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

You have a solution-oriented negotiation mindset? You find balanced compromises that protect the company's interests while maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.

You have an interest in digital issues and artificial intelligence? You anticipate legal developments and ensure that the use of new technologies complies with current legal and ethical frameworks.

WE CANNOT DO WITHOUT:

Graduate of a Master's degree in Law (ideally Private Law, Business Law, or International Law) minimum or equivalent, you have a minimum of 3 years' experience as an in-house legal counsel or in a law company.

You are proficient Microsoft Suite software.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Salary: €49,000 to €51,000 gross per year depending on profile
