Make an Impact Supporting Enterprise Software Licensing Operations

If you're an experienced IT Analyst who thrives in structured environments, enjoys problem‑solving through tickets, and loves working inside ServiceNow and SAM Pro, this is a role where your expertise truly matters. Trissential is seeking a Senior IT Solution Analyst to join our client's Software Asset Management team supporting software licensing, compliance, portals, approvals, and audit readiness across a highly collaborative internal environment.

This is a great fit for someone who knows software license types, works well inside standardized processes, and enjoys partnering closely with procurement, sourcing, and SAM stakeholders.

Your Role & Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Work extensively in ServiceNow, including SAM Pro, supporting ticket flows and licensing operations
  • Process and approve software purchase requests and service requests
  • Manage software licensing portals, repositories, and entitlements
  • Review, interpret, and document End User License Agreements (EULAs) and general licensing terms
  • Support internal and external software audits, pulling data, documentation, and evidence
  • Collaborate daily with sourcing, procurement, and internal SAM team members
  • Assist with ROI analysis, software lifecycle management, vendor transitions, and end-of-life planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure audit readiness and strong governance
  • Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining quality and consistency in a structured environment

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

You'll succeed in this role if you bring:

  • 6-9 years of experience as an IT Analyst, Licensing Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar
  • Hands‑on ServiceNow experience, ideally including SAMPro
  • Experience working with software licensing, portals, purchase approvals, and service request workflows
  • Ability to read, interpret, and document licensing agreements and EULAs
  • Comfort working in ticket‑based operational environments
  • Strong process discipline, attention to detail, and ability to follow defined workflows
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative working style

Bonus Points If You Have

  • SAMPro certification
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits
  • Exposure to compliance, asset management, or vendor management environments

Education & Certifications You Need

  • Certifications (including SAM Pro) are a plus but not mandatory
