Scope of position:

In this role, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the daily production, managing budgets and resources, ensuring quality and safety.

You act as a liaison between management, employees and other departments. Your main goal is to ensure that the production process run efficiently, cost-effectively and on schedule.

You also work closely with the QA/QC Manager to ensure product quality and compliance with quality guidelines, including the sample plan.

This role requires a combination of strategic insight, hands-on leadership, and strong problem-solving skills to safeguard production efficiency and quality standards.

• Production planning & process-optimalisation:
• Developing and executing production plans and schedules to meet both demand and delivery times
• Monitoring production processes to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
• Overseeing all operational flows, including raw materials, packaging, staffing, and production capacity.
• Coordination & people Management:
• Deploying personnel efficiently and logically to ensure optimal staffing.
• Approving leave requests to ensure smooth operational functioning.
• Contributing to the execution and compliance of various HR processes, such as performance evaluations and salary reviews.
• Being visible and accessible on the shop floor as a point of contact for employees
• Communicating clearly with the production team regarding the status of production KPIs.
• Leading the production team, including training, mentoring and motivating employees.
• Reporting:
• Analyzing production data and reporting performance, challenges and areas for improvement to management.
• Quality & safety management:
• Monitoring and supervise product quality, compliant with quality policy, in close collaboration with the QA/QC Manager.
• Ensuring compliance with the sample plan and timely handover samples to the quality department.
• Developping and follow up on the maintenance plan in collaboration with the technical department.
• Promoting and enforce the safety policy within Adisseo.
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the workplace and compliance with 5S principles.
• Coordination:
• Collaborating with other departments such as engineering, purchase and logistics to optimize workflows.

Hard Skills

• Minimum requirement: Higher Professional Education (HBO) level in Chemistry or a related field, or MBO level with equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control and safety regulations.
• Experience with budget management and maintaining production figures.
• Strong communication skills, both in English and Dutch (French is a plus) and ability to liaise between different levels.
• Knowledge of software packages: Office, SAP.
