Description du poste

As a mid-sized global biopharmaceutical company, Ipsen improves patients' lives through research, innovation and the development of transformative medicines in Oncology, Rare Disease and Neuroscience.

The Finance Transformation team is responsible for the definition, management and oversight of Ipsen's Finance transformation as part of the EVOLVE 2030 program towards making Finance a true Strategic Business Partner.

The Finance Transformation Manager helps orchestrate the Finance Department transformation, designing & executing top priority transformation projects.

The Manager Finance Transformation:

  • Supports the transformation of Ipsen's Finance Department
  • Supports the delivery of the Finance & Procurement transformation roadmap
  • Fosters Finance & Procurement team engagement
  • Leads specific Finance Transformation initiatives in an autonomous way
  • Provides analytical and methodological support to operational teams for decision-making

WHAT - Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies

Support and coordinate Global Finance Transformation:

  • Support the design and implementation of the global Finance transformation roadmap, in line with Group Strategy and objectives
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the global Finance transformation roadmap through end-to-end delivery of Project Management activities
  • Support the various internal finance projects, including but not limited to BI, Digital & AI, FP&A / performance management initiatives, processes optimization, or any other relevant projects on the scope of Finance as defined in the global Finance transformation roadmap
  • Foster improvements and transformation of the Group Finance Shared Service Centers (FSSC) including consolidation of existing centers, assessment of further functional or geographical scope expansion, identification of SSC process harmonization and/or optimization, etc.
  • Represent the Finance function in Procurement-driven initiatives to ensure the consistency of processes, internal control, etc.
  • Provide counsel and insights to the Group regarding leading practices and current trends in Finance, which could impact or be leveraged to improve Finance at Ipsen (digitalization, organization, processes and tools…)

Support Finance communication and engagement:

  • Foster Finance community engagement
  • Lead & support the planning and delivery of key Finance events & training (Finance Town Hall, Finance Seminar, Finance Learning Academy…)
  • Promote and support the communication of Finance initiatives
  • Represent Finance Function within different Ipsen ad hoc or regular committees or initiatives
  • Lead & support ad hoc projects

HOW - Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge & Experience (essential):

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in consulting or in corporate environment
  • Strong financial experience in transformative environments
  • Proven ability to scope, develop, and manage projects (PMO), developed through consulting firm experience
  • Experience in integrating complex and cross-corporate processes.
  • Experience in stakeholder management

Knowledge & Experience (preferred):

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (consulting or corporate) is preferred

Education / Certifications (essential):

  • Business school or equivalent in Finance & Business Administration or related field

Language(s) (essential):

  • Fluent in English
