Description du poste
Ipsen Finance is currently operating IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) as its enterprise planning platform while preparing the implementation of a new EPM solution (Pigment) as part of a major Finance Transformation Program.
This temporary position has been created to reinforce the Global Finance Planning & Projects team during this transition period. An extension of these 6-month fixed-term contract may be considered, subject to project developments and evolving business needs.
Possibility of extension depending on project requirements and business needs.
The role combines operational support activities required to ensure uninterrupted delivery of budgeting, forecasting, actuals and long-range planning cycles, together with active participation in EPM transformation initiatives.
Working closely with Finance, IT, business users and external partners, the successful candidate will contribute to both the day-to-day management of planning systems and key project activities supporting the design, testing and deployment of future FP&A solutions.
The position may also contribute to broader Global FP&A process improvement and transformation projects.
WHAT - Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
Main Responsibilities
Application Administration
- Support planning cycles administration (initialization of the phase & related central data, reports and input templates updates, version copies)
- Provide first-level support for current EPM users (incident resolution, user queries)
- Manage and validate data integrations from/to other systems (ERP, HR, Supply Chain, etc.)
Business Process Support
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and closing cycles
- Support end users during financial cycles (planning campaigns, reporting deadlines)
- Help ensure data consistency and reliability on all financial cycles (actuals, budget, forecast)
- Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot discrepancies
Finance Transformation & Project Support, incl. implementation of a new EPM solution
- Assist the team in business process mapping and documentation activities.
- Contribute to testing activities.
- Support master data preparation, cleansing and governance activities.
- Assist in data migration and reconciliation exercises.
- Contribute to FP&A process improvement initiatives beyond EPM systems.
Technicalcompetencies
- Understanding planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Strong data validation and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system needs.
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
- 1-5 years of experience in Finance systems, FP&A, Business Analysis, Data Analytics or Finance Transformation activities
- Ability to work with both Finance and IT teams
- Basic knowledge of Data flows / EPM solutions
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Project coordination mindset
- Proactive and eager to learn
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
- Exposure to EPM tools or financial systems
- Knowledge of ETL / SQL knowledge
Education / Certifications (essential):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in either:
- Finance
- Information Systems
- Business Administration
- Data / Analytics
Language(s) (essential):
Fluent in English and French
