EDF Trading Markets Limited is the Paris Branch of EDF Trading and provides the base for the European Optimisation business. The optimisation of the EDF SA production assets on the European wholesale markets as well as EDFT proprietary trading on the short term European electricity market is conducted on a 24/7 basis from the Paris branch.

The Optimisation and Trading Analytics Team is located predominantly in the Paris Branch. The core purpose of the team (8 people) is the development of complex market forecasting models and asset optimisation tools to support EDF Group portfolio optimisation and EDF Trading proprietary activity with a focus on the European power markets. The team works in close proximity with the trading desks and analysts in both locations.
