In the Low Carbon Solutions & Gas (LCSG) Group, we work on Process Design Packages (PDP) and detailed engineering projects for our customers in the field of natural gas treatment (such as gas sweetening and MEG reclamation technologies), syngas purification, sulfur recovery and carbon capture.

We are looking for a Lead Process Engineer for the LCSG Process Team.

Assigned to the LCSG Principal Process Team Manager, you will be involved into international projects and supervising the design of Axens process units.

Your main activities will be to:

· Supervise and manage the Process team work on license or module projects,

· Manage demanding customers and ensure a good relationship with them,

· Coordinate the activities with other departments (Drafting, Engineering, Project, Technology…),

· Train junior Process engineers,

· Participate in new technologies and new market development,

· Contribute to integrate site feedbacks in order to continuously improve units designs.

· Occasionally, participate to the development of technical proposals to answer request for PDP bids.

This mission involves travels for international technical meetings and seminars.

Description du profil

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in chemical engineering (Master of sciences or equivalent).

You have at least 8 years of experience within an engineering company, ideally related to the gas industry / or within the refining, petrochemical, chemical or biochemical industry.

You are experienced in basic and/or detail engineering Process tasks, such as:

* Process Simulation using chemical engineering softwares (Pro II, Hysys, etc),
* Equipment specification (columns, pumps, compressors, drums, etc),
* Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID),
* Process control and Safety.

You have experience in Project Management tasks, such as:

* Customers relationship
* Schedule establishment and follow-up
* Coordination of activities with different parties, subcontractors, or engineers
* Contribution to young engineers' skills development
* An experience in the field of gas treatment facilities design would be a plus.
* A fluent level of English is mandatory, other language(s) appreciated.
* You are a real team player, agile in working in collaborative organizations, and multi-cultural company.
