Working Hours: 40 hours, 5 days a week, possibly in different shifts and on-call if needed

Description

A Senior G Suite expert is an experienced technical person with deeper knowledge of G Suite, Chromebooks, and AD-G Suite Directory Synchronization service components. Responsible for:

Resolution of the most complex tasks, Acting as first escalation level for the operational support team.

Google / Vendor Escalations

Ensure alignment with Chess2GSuite and O365 GIT standards and processes.

Encouraging development & training of junior SMEs

Working with Atos standard delivery tools and processes (SMD12.9 / ASM (Atos service management model)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Incident and Change Management following the KPI/SLA in place for G Suite Service including
    • SSO and Directory Sync
    • Google G Suite configuration
    • License Management
    • User management
    • Chromebook, Chrome browser and MDM management
    • User mailbox, calendar, Drive migrations (ExO <--> G Suite)
    • Participate in service reviews / CAB
    • Responsible to manage Google updates, impact analyse and prepare CAB
    • Has the ownership on monitoring / health checks of Google admin console and functionalities
  • Analyze root causes of issues and propose next steps to avoid their repetition in the future
  • Lead problem solving discussion with team, continuous improvement
  • Develop automation solutions that reduces the workload for the operational support team
  • Investigate and analyze the possible automation solution in order to increase the team productivity
  • Involved in incremental project work for GIT G Suite Service
  • Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance with LLD/HLD.
  • Proactively undertake awareness, technical readiness training and upskilling for continued capability of G Suite and Chrome Books.
  • Provide guidance to less experience colleagues
  • Undertake creation of ad-doc or regular service report generation as required (adoption / license usage etc.).

  • Maintain close relationship with GIT Workplace tower colleagues and GIT management, especially:
    • Workplace management team
    • Unified Communications team (Mail, Skype for Business, Circuit)
    • Identity and Access Management team (WAC, AD, IDM)
  • Maintain close relationship with the internal and external suppliers:
    • Google

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT or Information Management

Training / certification

  • G Suite Sales (G Suite intro / Overview)
  • G Suite Administrator Fundamentals
  • G Suite Deployment Specialist
  • Chromebook deployment
  • Chromebook sales
  • Google Cloud Certified - G Suite
  • Participate in Google partner education (technical area)
